Pretty sure reputation and how folk judge you go hand in hand these days......folk these days are pretty superficial and fickle.........if WP had won by Williamstowns scoreline, reckon many folk here would be boasting how strong the WAFL comp is over the VFL........sadly the WAFL reputation got a hammering on Tues night......now the whole of Victoria thinks the WAFL comp is shite especially since the reigning premiers of that comp can only kick 1.2 gonna take a bit for the WAFL to restores that battering to their reputation I guess....

..1.2 is a pretty damning scoreline, just as bad as EF 2.16 effort last year.......though 19 scoring shots atleast suggest EF had its fair share of the footy......3 scoring shots in 80 mins of footy is pretty damning to ones reputation dont you think?

I guess we will find out if our WP players hearts have stopped beating by their Performance this Sat against the Eagles Reserves
Unless the players as a team take ownership of Tuesdays ( and for that matter, the season to date) failure then there will be no moving forward .... Just stumbling and a sad fall
For one more week I hold my breath and wait to see who will stand up

Dont want to be negative Growler but gotta be realistic.
If WP win this Saturday they will have to be drug tested. We arent aligned with Essendon are we? Sure they will bust their guts but the legs will give up in the last qtr I feel.
A couple of the reserves will get a bit leg weary as well but should get over the line. They all did a lot of running v Williamstown. Albeit in circles

One thing I have noticed this season and last is that the G7 supporters are all watching each others backs, no more slagging each other like the Footygoss days, we have great more respect for each others clubs and act more like a community, if anything this alignment bullshit has created a WAFL brotherhood, love reading the support comments from opposition supporters.

wasn't it worth a 100 grand to the winner. all and sundry would have expected half an effort at that rate. absolutely piss poor
