Looking forward to a lot of the contests with the Subi midfield and especially the Rucking duel between Frank and Chris.. Should be worth watching that. As they said on WAFL WORLD if Frank gets over Chris maybe he would be in line for a State spot. Agree. Dont think the coach will though lol
All up it should be a incredible game between these 2 sides with WP going in with a a pretty good side - Razor of course but we have the depth to replace him. Jones back hopefully and fresh.
Subi are proving they are a good side just by their record.
A loss by either side would not be a disgrace but WP NEEDS this win

ONLY one thing is certain though I will not be having a Beer in the EP bar and will drink at the Subi bar as I think many WP supporters will. Have done so in the past and no problems. The repertoire is good and we agree with one thing NO ALIGNMENT

GO THE CARDIES

West Perth has won another thriller downing Subiaco 14.12 (96) to 13.8 (86) this afternoon at Leederville.
Nick Rodda kicked four goals for West Perth with Marcus Adams adding three and Steve Potente two.
Aaron Black had 29 touches, Andrew Strijk 22, Rohan Kerr 22, Shane Nelson 21 and Dan Hunt 19.

Great win by all 3 grades today against the benchmark Subi.. Looking forward to EP in 2 weeks time.

Marcus Adams and Steve Potente are my pics as BOG closely followed by Striker and Nick Rodda... Great team effort though by all players.

Colts had good win against an undermanned Subi side due to 4 players playing state 18 and 2 elevated to Ressies but no excuse for Subi who were stretched by the WP side who have been undermanned all year and going through a rebuilding stage after loss of Acres and Robinson to AFL.. Robbo has even got a couple of AFL games under his belt. Big losses but we will rebuild.. 2 wins and 8 points on the board which is a good effort. Well done to the coach and team.

Ressies Did the usual and turned it around.. Either they dont like Paul yelling at them or they listen to instructions :) Well done to the guys for turning it around after a shocking 2/3 rd qtrs.. So its 5 in a row now and beware anyone who takes them lightly. They are a good unit who are capable of anything.
I was stunned with the tackling in the last qtr and Subi never got a leg in. Every time they got the ball a WP player was onto them. Subi never had a chance to play their game. Now all our team has to do is PLAY 4 qtrs and they will be unbeatable.

League

It was a hard slug between 2 good teams and could of gone either way. Great game of WAFL footy albeit pretty scrappy at times. Marcus Adams kick started us and we have had a win with his recruitment. Nick Rodda had a blinder. Andrew Strijk played his usual brilliant game. Kody and Jonesy must be Mentioned in despatches as both were great. Andrew Krakouer showed some of his old magic in the last qtr and it was a pleasure to watch.
Missed a lot out there but it was a great team effort.
West Perth are back in town

WEST PERTH
Gains for 2014: Marcus Adams (SD), Seva
Martin (Sub), Ben King (Gingin), Matthew
Spencer (Myrtleford FC/SD ), Tamati Young
(International – New Zealand)
Losses after 2013: Josh Mellington (AFL
Delist), Michael Pettigrew (retired), Jason
Salecic (retired), Anthony Saylor (work), Frank
Stockley (Sub), Nick Robertson (Brisbane),
Blake Acres (St Kilda)

Speaking of the Colts losses wanted to see how Blake and Nick were going in AFL.
Found this and we did well. Does anyone know what happened to the Kiwi?

Heard Sala might be making a comeback as well.. Just rumour level at this time but a pretty good source.. Apparently he misses the footy and with the long break is feeling good. Food for thought. My opinion is Dont think so but who knows?

Food for thought

Paid attention to the Stockly/ Keunen duel today and IMO it was pretty even. Havent looked at HO stats as they mean nothing as it comes down to Effective HO rather than the number

Hello John, young Latham went to Subiaco. I see Sam Fong is over at Claremont and didn't Elisseou go there as well.

Steve are you talking about ALEX ELISSEOU ? I followed him pretty closely in the reserves last year. As you know he got that broken jaw where the other prick got off and plenty was said.. He never recovered from that and was just starting to play good footy.. Then he had hammy probs etc.. I did ask where he was at beginning of this season and told he wasnt playing anymore by a club member.
Could be wrong but thats the latest I have on him.

As for Latham and Fong not really interested as their decision and didnt follow them.

So do you know what happened to the Kiwi? or did he decide not to come? Tamati Young

Dont know where you got that stat from mate with HO? 84

League

Total Hit outs in the league are Subi 62 WP 46

Stockers had 49 and Chris 41... so that was a even contest

Ressies - Ah see it now in the Ressies my apoligies WP 84 Subi 21...

Seva Martin 56 and Subi ruckman Sean Bradley 14..

Seva certainly dominated there and a good number were effective.

Would like to see 2 ruckmen in the League v EP as they have some big men and good rucks.. Not my call but seems like the logical thing to do considering Seva's performance and stats especially in the Foxtel where he dominated the Box Hill ruckman. Thoughts on that
