aaaaarrrggghh what a way to end the game - ONE POINT WINNERS absolutely brilliant

I have to say that Manning was the difference. He never gave up all day, took on the load that others dropped, over a dozen tackles, forced errors onto the opposition and then 2 goals

Well done to Kody Manning - a great selection for the state team

Good on ya Kraks - 3 goals mate and some amazing work around the goals - the speed has gone but the brain and the talent still bubble to the top :P

Two close ones in one week.. Bugger hard to take but no complaining..
What a club and they never give up. Great day for footy and did we get a game. Must admit most of the supporters had written us off but the Team thought otherwise
Well done guys :cheer:

Crowd 1260 via 91.3 Not bad considering

And a special thanks to Slick for kicking true from a difficult shot from pocket to close it down.. Strykers 50 metre goal certainly inspired the team as well.
Kody was brilliant and hard at it.

How good are Slick's hands? He had taken 10 amazing marks under a lot of pressure from taller opponents and racked up 27 disposals. He was on fire! I knew we could back him on kicking the winner.

Colts and Reserves

COLTS

Colts fought back and went down by 3 points after a great last qtr comeback

Well done boys and you proved you have the WPFC fighting spirit.. Keep working hard and it will happen. Enjoy your footy because a long way to go in your careers

West Perth 1.0 3.2 4.4 8.6 54
Peel Thunder 3.4 6.4 8.6 8.9 57

Reserves

Great game to watch and WP it would be fair to say cruised to victory.
Noticed a couple of the guys who played Foxtel got weary in the end and were making a few errors but kept on trying.

Some of these guys are not far off a League side. Good to see SEVA Martin got 35 HO in the game and most were efficient in going to a WP player.

My top players were Aiden Lynch who impressed with his second efforts one of which resulted in a goal from no where.
Chris Shannon was speedy and did some good work as did Thrum,McPhee and others
Well done to Braydon Antonio who got cleaned up in a good tackle but recovered quickly and got back into the game.
Of Course Chookie did well wit his 8 goals and made the workload a bit easier on the team up forward and on the scoreboard. Maybe a run in ressies did him no harm and possibly back next week in League?

Well done to Paul Sanzone and his Reserve side.. The big challenge will v Subi next week and it will show where they are at..

Frank, he couldn't see daylight between the posts. Leedy was near the goals and he told me that the ball was drifting towards the point post and all of a sudden straightened and went through the goals. Fantastic to catch up with Ben Stinga , Swandog , Cardy and Leedy. Bill gave the boys a serve for their first half performance and praised the boys for an eleven goal to four goal performance after half time. Bill gave Slick a huge wrap. His marking was outstanding.
