I have to say that Sth Freo are a team that always worries me and for some reason they seem to give our lads the 'wobbles' when we play them..
We would have gained enormous confidence from last weeks domination/demolition/destruction (lots of d's) of the Ferals - lets not see over confidence though.
Being back home will help I'm sure - having a more stable structure as produced last week will be a benefit obviously and with several players still to enter the league including 'kracks' its going to be a bonus to have the players competing for and then retaining spots in the team
Healthy competition and positive results lay ahead.....
Can Adams be our big forward go to man, a power of a man
Will Kuens stand up to the rigours of the coming weeks
Can Chooky get his marking in line with his kicking
Will Manning be the barometer of the team, and dominate with his forward pressure
Is Crisp the extra link in the forward pressure chain
Can Rasmussen alter his stats to not just accumulate but to be more effective
...... the list can go on - but its with great pride I ask, not with a negative suggestion... the weeks ahead will tell.

Looking forward to another outstanding game and hopefully the stands full of the supporters that were missing last week... The die hards came and saw a wonderful game - many took the objective view of the alignment possibly and chose not to attend... their loss I'm afraid as they missed out on a part of history

Krakouer has been named in the squad I notice, so it will be interesting to see if he makes the 22. Beware of Souths, I really think that they are not far off causing an upset if they can get their kicking boots on!

The weather is looking good for the weekend. Daytime temperatures between 25 to 30 degrees. The standard of play should be good.

Yep agree as they ended last year off pretty well.. Loved it when they beat EP at Freo when we had a bye.

It is certainy not going to be a walkover like that farce last weekend in all three grades. It was a joke.
Sure our league will still be hot but the ressies and colts will have to be on the top of their game as SF have a good record at that level

Just had a look at WAFL online and our ressies are going down big time 2 points to SF 42..

Anyway gotta head off for the drive up to Joondalup and the Reserves game

looks like the colts game is a bit of a farce cardy....not good for the comp mate....surely EP/WCE aren't to blame for WP colts showing at present?

Had a bad year or two but showing improvement at times
Havent they won 2 games now.. Lost a couple of good players
Sure they are working hard to rectify the problem that goes without saying.
SF now miles in front. But then again SF have always had a good colts side
As long as the boys take it on board and learn something from it.

Very unusual game at times - up down all over the place .... tough game against the Cardies , we have a great rivalry - traditionally very respectful hard fought games

Very grateful for the points but the Cardies will be in the finals , we probably won't unless something remarkable happens given the start to this year
