TOPIC:

I will kick it off for season 2014- Going to be a tough start for the Falcons, EF have been impressive from all reports in their pre-season games, including a 14 goal touch up of Perth. We have had some recent success at Shark Park but always a tough gig. We will have a near on full strength line up, only likely outs being Krakour, Strijk and Slick.

I doubt Bill will let the old "Premiership" hang over kreep in, the boys are well driven and are hungry for more success.

Thoughts ?

One other 'glaring omission' from the team line up
Kody Manning serving the first week of his three week ridiculously heavy handed suspension - he will be sorely missed.....!

This will be a great game - two teams that will be in the mix come finals time for sure .... going to be a tough pick when it goes to my tipping time later this week

Adams will be a starter, Bill is excited and impressed with this bloke, from what I have seen of him, he wont be a massive goal scorer but what he will do is crash some packs and put the fear of god into some opposition backs and bring the ball to ground for the likes of Guad, Nelly, Slick, Crispy and Blacky etc.

How could I forget Manning, he is a star for mine !

How is this clash not the TV game between 2 real clubs but instead they have a bloody Reserves game on the ABC?!

Spot on mate, plus its on hot country digital radio?? I don't know anyone who can actually get that station, WAFL will be so un accessible this season it spells the beginning of the end, I am finding it hard to get enthused about this coming season, it is going to be a farce

If the game loses 'passionate supporters' the bastards are on the winning leg of the run
Be enthusiastic about the number of players NEW/CURRENT & OLD still wearing their team jumpers proudly.
For the family's that are proud to have sons and spouses hitting the ground weekly putting bodies to the test
For the senior supporters ( consider the shit THEY have dealt with in the long lives and still they return) who look forward to watching their beloved teams playing weekly

Well said Growler, I couldnt give a fuck, I will be there week in week out, I have too many good memories of going to the footy with my old man and that passion is instilled into me.

Cant wait for Saturday. Will get the double header with the Ressies as well.

Interesting point on the media and live broadcast this week
990 have pulled the pin on WAFL but no fault of theres. No Sandover count on radio unless 91.3 picks it up but Colin from what I have heard is not happy with WAFL/WAFC help by these stations. Fair call as the WAFL promotion of WAFL is admissible

Anyway great to come off a GF and all the best to all the WPFC sides.

Lets remember the moment. Still over the moon about it. Feel sorry for Hutchy but he is obligated and that is the way it is. Sure he will be an inclusion in the Eagles side a lot this year so hopefully will not have to pull on the EP colours to often.
