Chris has been a great servant to the club and carried the Ruck load basically on his own. He has dominated in the Ruck against and done well against some Good opponents. Missed the Edit deadline ... Chris has played 123 games for WPFC. So all being well will hit his 150 Life membership next year.. Cant wait

Former St Bernards OC FC player Chris Keunen has reached a personal milestone of 100 games with West Perth in the WAFL.

Chris a former Junior Premiership player had become the first player to represent our juniors while still attending Essendon Grammar. Since then, many of other players have followed the same path.

On leaving our Junior ranks Chris quickly developed into an important member of the Under : 19, 2003 Premiership & Champion Team under David Law.

Chris went onto represent the Club’s 1st XVIII.

# Heritage No : 483 … Debut Rnd 1 / ’04 - 36 games. (inclu VAFA rep game)

Chris also represented the VAFA in the Under : 23 in 2005 and was a member of the ‘all conquering’ team which won the AAFC Triennial Series – Australian Champions - under Frank Dunell. Chris played an important role in the ruck on the big Leederville Oval in Perth alongside team mates Andrew Gill and Josh Madden.

Chris, since departing St Bernards in season ’06, has developed into a fine ruckman within the WAFL. He still keeps a close eye on St Bernards and when returning to Melbourne to catch up with his parents usually joins the Club for a training session.

No problems mate - Chris is a legend and well loved by the WPFC supporters.
Looking forward to the game this week. Got a reasonable ruckman against him so should be a good challenge.. ABC TV game so a bonus for you in Vic as you will be able to watch it.
PS Always go down and have a talk with him.. Just to keep his game up I give him a few tips. I know he is keen but those Red and Blue Jocks worry me
