There is no doubt WP have a great on field culture of demanding the best out of each other, never say die until the final siren etc, something my own club could look closely at and try and emulate.
As I have been saying for a long time on here WP do have a very good metro zone in which there are literally tens of thousands of young families with kids (plenty of fast food outlets up here too).
One wonders though if the WAFC had not have inexplicably paid the WP players for the 2018/19 season would many of those players still be there?
 

Yes good article for a change, the club is run by West Perth people now, people who care about the club and its history, and the playing group pick up on that culture.
As far as the zones go our colts haven't won a premiership in 31 years so that tells me our zones are not that good and our country zones are the weakest of all the clubs, to me that"s a good indication of the zoning.

Lets hypothetically say if the West Perth f.c.decided not to abort their heartland in1994 and kept their Leederville,Mnt Hawthorn and Osborne Park zones,while the Joondalup Jabborwokkies were officially formed in their place,and players like Aaron Black from Kingsley and Shane Nelson from Edgewater were bona fide Jabborwokkie stars, i reckon in the 27 year old head to head battle between the old and new guard i'd like to have my money on the Double J's.
