haha...yes...I meant one of the home games is actually an away fixture for us against EP....but I am looking forward to travelling to Lathlain to see what changes have been made since I was there last year.

Yeah it's 3 home games, an away games against Perth and EP. Ground sharing will always deliver us and EP an extra game at home.

It certainly sounds about right, although I was only responding to the contention that WAFL clubs gave there H&A games to Subiaco Oval and I can't recall that happening in the 80's or any other decade I've been around.

Yeah it did happen for a while Ool from 1981 after the new 2 Tier Grandstand was built.
It was usually just 1 or 2 games a year (for SD anyway) as I can remember us playing Claremont (1984), EF in the wet (1982), EP (1987), P (1982, 1984, 1986), SF (1984), WP (1981, 1983, 1986) all at Subiaco Oval as neutral home and away games.
From memory it was to help repay costs for the stand or similar?

I can't believe anyone on here can not remember playing neutral games at Subi, during 82 to possibly 85. I looked at the 82 Fixtures and there were 6 extra games @ Subi, EF v WP game where Mainwairing missed the set shot after the siren.

Mainy came up from Gero as a 19 year old in 85....so Leedy if the fella missed a last minute winner v WP....than those neutral games were played up until 85 then....

Perhaps then it was Jeff Cassidy who missed the set shot for East Fremantle at Subiaco Oval in 1982.

I can remember going to watch east perth play perth at subi in a neutral game.We were in front at three quarter time and lost.i am sure it was the year that greg brehaut got sacked as coach at east perth.
