Oops sorry totally misread that one - I was wondering because they seemed to have more. Many of ours bad kicks too - CJ would have provided at least 6 or 7 I50s.

Yes he would of but he is also a culprit of just bombing long and the opposition player marking the footy.

Yep I agree.
I think it’s accepted as a part of who we are.
When was the last time you saw a runner go out after an error and chat to the player concerned?
The same as bringing the ball out of defence it’s as though the ball has to touch half a dozen hands backwards sideways handball handball before we clear it out of the danger zone then turnover goal,where’s the runner?

It is all part of the lack of club discipline that has been there for decades and vehemently denied.
Too scared of offending a player in case he leaves the Club.
About time we toughened up and implemented some culture and discipline.
If players can' take it we don't want them.

Just watched Legget’s estimated 92 metre goal off a couple of steps. That was unbelievable and surely the local press could have made something of it?

Yes I agree 58S.
He seemed to kick the ball off 2 or 3 steps backwards of the centre circle. I've not seen a longer kick score a goal before. Is fantastic to watch.
As per usual our ""so called media"" didn't utter one word of it as far as I'm aware!
Some saturday nights, abc tv can't even be bothered showing the Wafl full time scores anymore. Unclear what the commercial tv stations do. And most radio stations are nowadays bloody useless wastes of space!
What a pity Leggets effort did not spur Perth on. They fell away badly and only scored 30% in the second half.
I'm sure if Legget had been a basketballer scoring from 90 odd metres out or a golfer with a 90 metre hole in one or something, the bloody media would have been all over it!

Has the ground been shortened in the redevelopment.

App 1963 in a scratch match against SF I saw John Todd kick a drop kick goal from further behind the centre.
I thought I had heard of the shortening of the ground.
But not sure.
