Was second to the contest a lot I thought.

I reckon Garstone got in his way a few times to the point where he went up against White in a couple of marking contests spoiling any chance he may have had marking the ball.
I do think White could work a bit harder to get to contests.
Also the bigger worry is his injuries,it looked like he had a groin problem in the last.

Anymore long term injuries then they would seriously have to look at him and his value.

Just wondering what happened to Josh Burke thought he played very well at the end of last year, seemed like an exciting prospect.

Also cant work out why Henderson gets a game in front of Morisey and Scotney.

Sheesh, not a propaganda machine, just trying to stay positive without putting blinkers on.

And there were positives out of the game. I had hoped that it would all just gel first go with 7 new players (and assuming CJ in) and didn't quite work out (and even Swans fans know they got rub of the green with the umps - Legget's deliberate oob with a 60 metre kick to a two on one and the ball takes a wicked leg break!!). But the back line held up well generally considering the pressure they were under. We had way more I50's but delivery was atrocious - how many times did we kick it directly to a SD defender. A bit better delivery and the forward line is a dangerous one.

Also OK we got murdered at the clearances but there was some poor setting up with Eyresy winning knock and SD taking away but CJ will sort that out as will CY etc when they play more together.

Give this team a few weeks to gel and see what we have is all I am saying. We are coming off 3 wins last year and we were first up against a team that finished 4th and had some big ins.

We have to be very competitive against EF top keep the faith but can't see any reasons why we wouldn't be. They were competitive against Peel but that was the worst Peel side for a long time.

We had 43 I50’s to there 58 StT. Hardly a lot more. Agree that the ball use could be better.

Josh Burke is studying this year, same as Tom Gooch.

Perth were ok but without Jones they seemed to lack a bit of run and Sinclair always plays well against Swans.
would think it will take 3-4 games to see where you guys are at, swans are the same.
no 36 apart from one dropped mark was very good, played a top game.
no 16 seemed to have the job of nullifying Notte and Notte's stats were down but it meant you didnt have a chf to kick to.

I believe that Josh Burke's parents have moved to Sydney and he has obviously gone with them.
