Yes guys, Roe has decided not to play this year. He is disgruntled about not being drafted last year. The club is still in contact with him, hoping he will change his mind. But for now he is happy hanging with his mates.

Well thats a real smart move,don't play and absolutely guarantee you dont get drafted!

I can understand the disappointment of not getting drafted but surely working hard over the summer and putting your best foot forward for 2018 would give him a great chance of getting drafted.

He would get plenty of opportunities in our league team and he only has to look at the likes of Gordon Narrier and Matt Taylor who both played a fair amount of league football the year they got drafted.

J. Irons gone there aswell

Irons was very injury prone since he got back from Port Adelaide. Never played more than 13 games in a season.

Irons not really a loss. Sadly, since his return from Port Adelaide, he has been cruelled by injury and not played many games.
Zareth Roe is a loss. A very talented player who should have stepped up this coming season and given himself a very good chance to be drafted. Now that opportunity will be well out of reach.
I hope that the club can convince him to change his mind and give himself a good crack in this year's draft.
