Freez surely the odd 1 or 2 of your older victorious Colts boys will be looked at in the Rookie Draft.

I don't think clubs get the draft money anymore do they? It all goes towards the revamped colts system which is no longer run by the clubs?

TOO this is the last year apparently for clubs to get the draft money....35K for listed draftees and 15K for rookie draftees....Cl and Subi are quids in with 140K each...more so when Powell, Guelfi and Langdon probably return back to Cl in a couple of years......

Smokester....Chris Scott was EFdraft elegible state U/18 rep, he was the the colts GF Mel Whinnen Medal winner and EF only state combine rep is on the rookie radar...as said earlier EF colts were an even side who spread the work across the whole side....not reliant on a few standouts to deliver each week.

Good luck to Narrier and Roe then.....thought Ninyette was a go for WCE...but with Ryan,LeCras Cripps and Rioli as WCE small forwards looks like Ninyette could go east...good luck to the kid.

I would hope that the football department has at least enquired about the possibility of Sam Collins and whether he wants to return to WA or not. Has been one of the best key defenders over the last two seasons and it would be 10-11 points well spent in my opinion and on an area we definitely need strengthening.

Freeze regards the draft payments, I can see why they would end with the new colts system coming in next year but surely that would only apply to boys recruited directly from that new colts system. Players who are on clubs league/reserves list like a Liam Ryan or a Kelly from Souths would still attract the draft payments.
