Speaking of a slow ox Smokey, how far behind the 8 ball would Cam be so late into the preseason? Not sure how committed he is by not bothering to return calls from both EFFC and PFC....bit of a red flag wouldn't you think?...more so for you guys considering your ruck stocks are slim compared to EF.....can see why he isn't coming back to EF with Griff and Bristow in front of him.....would if thought he would be a monty for regular league footy down at Perth this year....hope u get him tho, is talented when fit and on form... and as you say 200 plus cm too!

Have to agree Freezin. Our ruck stocks consist of Christian Eyres, plus a young kid in the Colts probably coming up to senior ranks this year but way off helping solve our problem.
Your young bloke Cam is an unknown quanity but "beggars cannot be choosers" and 200cm+ ruckmen don't come around that often so we would have to take him if we can get him.
His fitness may not be up to scratch but if he is committed and focussed he will fit in at Lathlain. That is the big unknown...does he want to play WAFL or not.
Our football manager should keep ringing until he answers or go knocking on his door..

If the big bloke isn’t at pre season yet then it’s not a good look for him in the eyes of his potential teammates who have been working there buts off since November. This also shows the debacle of money being offered in Ammos to seduce players away from wafl. I get though that Perth need big blokes. Hopefully this kid decides to join you guys for that sake, does the work and becomes a back up for Eyres.

Tiger, I agree. It is a huge call to expect all the dots to be joined. First, he has to commit to be totally focussed and want to play, and then to catch up on the hard work and earn the respect of his new teammates and to be ready to take his place in the side.

We don't need a backup for Eyres we need a number 1 ruckman that Eyres can backup.
If he hasnt signed by now I'd say he won't.
I scratch my head that we still seek ruckmen after all these seasons,who the hell are our ressies ruckmen??
