Not only is 4 out of top 22, its 3 out of the top 5.

Guess what if a couple of the gun kids get drafted that played league that will be 5 or 6 from the best 22 gone.
Last seasons lack of recruiting combined with player losses has come back to bite them on the arse big time.

TBH I'm not really expecting any improvement this season or in the foreseeable future.
This club is that far behind the rest of the comp it's not funny,it's just the norm these days.

It's a far cry from the gun club on and off field that I followed in the 70's.

Me too 30+ where do you find a Yovich or a Houghton when you need one?

You guys should chase Chris Bryan from Subi, he's apparently looking elsewhere and is a good defender but i think he is a ready made mid. V good skills and a big body for a mid.

Pretty modest stats SS, Age 22 We have recruited many cast offs from other clubs over the years.
Tropo was probably the best.

Bogensperger would be another who's a ready made mid but can't get a consistent run in the league at Subi.

this is where subi snooker the rest of the comp, they have all their fringe players on their 40 list so the clearance fees are much higher.
on the other hand as Subi has so much money to spend clearance money is like confetti.
to pay 3 or 4k for reserves players from any club is a joke

Better stats. Perhaps should be playing more senior games at Subi like many of your home grown products. Being held up by high priced recruits from elsewhere.
After the ill-fated Sutherland experiment we need to be wary of deals done for any fringe players. Play it smart Football Dept. if you can.
