Cody Ninyette 7 goals from a very talented small forward. I have always had a bit of wrap on this lad, very quick , skilful and elusive.

Conca is best 22 when fit so reckon they'll persist with him. Matthew Taylor maybe a chance to return as hasn't appeared to have been prominent with Werribee. Narkle will have another year at Geelong. Maybe Franklin and O'Meara could come back as a package deal. Fisher is getting plenty of opportunity at Carlton and been pretty handy.

Realistically McInnes and Mzungu would be preferred options. Think Tunbridge got injured again on weekend, his hardness would be handy but can't put games together

Very true Dwert.....will be interesting to see if Ninyette's 7 goal game v EP may secure him a rookie spot at WCE.....only one game but to do it on a WCE player in Nelson surely would of raised a few heads at WCE.....especially with LeCras and HIll on the decline.....speed is something WCE do lack.....

Way too soon and way too inconsistent and would get rag dolled in AFL. Let him develop naturally in the WAFL or he could well be lost within a few years because once they get drafted they think they've made it. He's got a long way to go before being draft material imo.

I guess that is why they have a rookie list.....get them on a proper fitness/diet regime and give them time to develop in the WAFL at the same time footy wise.....though see what you are saying regarding the mental side of things DD....but hey it would be a crime to lose talent like Ninyette's from the game without maximizing his obvious talent......rather see 20 games of elite footy out of Ninyette rather than 150 of Zac Dawson any day though.....

Good to see Zac Fisher finding his feet in the AFL too.....obviously small in size too, but Bolton has stuck with him and he will be the better for it development wise.

How is McInness related to Wiley and Monkey Brennan?.....lot of talk regarding Wiley keeping his hands off Fraser.....where is the connection?

Two years later we were playing in (and being cheated out of a win in) a prelim.

Ninyette will be drafted to $ubi in 2018 off the back of that effort.
