Chris Billings was in the commentary box for round 1. I heard a word that he had spat the dummy because he was not in the league squad for round 1. How true it is or whether wounds have been healed or not I don't know. If he has spat the dummy I am a bit disappointed I thought he was above that.

Joel Leeson left the Club and wanted to play strangely Morawa or Meekathara not Dongara where he comes from? I heard that he was coming back to the Club. Again not 100% sure.

Not sure with Moody, I don't think it was serious so maybe the 2 week break will see him available.

I find it interesting that the 'Perth Supporters' thinks he spit the dummy and quit, yet in the same breathe say that he was down there watching Round 1. How many players have you heard of spitting the dummy yet down there supporting the same week? You blokes need to get a grip.

As a supporter of Perth I would love to read on this thread insightful comments from time to time as opposed to uninform comments from the so-called "Perth Faithful".

As for Billings, I believe he is taking a year off footy..... but who knows if Perth starts winning games he might change his mind. As for his football ability, well he managed to play above himself for years (in height and size) in a non-performing team. I believe he deserves a bit of credit for sticking with it so long, even when the umpires started to have a vendetta against him.

Boomerman, read my post again, I was not having a go at Chris, I am actually a Billings fan.

What I said was, if Chris spat the dummy I would be disappointed as I thought he was above that.

It does seem strange that it appeared to have occurred on the Thursday night, from all reports. Read into that what you will.

He was not supporting his mates on the Saturday I believe he was in a commentary box.

If he is taking a year off all is well and good, the timing just seems amiss to me.

He will need to do a lot of work to successfully come back after "taking a year off".

Looking at the Footy Budget for Round 3 that is on the net, noticed Joel Leeson listed to play in the reserves, obviously still at the club, unfortunately no Billings.

Good news then, it would seem Joel is back in the fold.
