Clem has been delisted by Carlton no doubt the PFC have already been in his ear.
We cant have another Gerard Ugle scenario.

Imo Tropiano will want out,i hope we play hard ball.
Why should we roll over and take it up the $#@# like we normally do with player transfers, make it tough!

2017 could be a year where we get a few ex-players back at 1 point to really strengthen this squad.

Yep further proof there is no loyalty in footy Trops aim is getting drafted and playing finals , and he'll do whatever is best for him to achieve that goal.

Is Tropiano contracted for next year? otherwise he's free to walk and we may get nothing for him.

Absolutely 30+. We must work hard on any and all of our players who are delisted by AFL clubs.
There is a good chance of 3 or 4 being delisted and we must move mountains to get them back to Lathlain. All returning 1 point players will add tremendously to our depth and our attempts to build on gains made this past season.

However we must not rely solely on players returning, We still need some targeted recruiting. A couple of tall KPPs and another midfielder.

I agree we must start playing hardball on player transfers. We must demand the best deal for PFC and not give in to other clubs' poaching.

I will be disappointed if Tropiano wants out given the opportunity that we gave him. If he is out of contract we will need to work hard and stay tough. If he is still under contract we are in the box seat.

PN, even if he is out of contract we are entitled to compensation and for that we must play hardball.

PN i hope he is contracted,if he is he wont be going anywhere if it was up me.

He had offers last season and my guess was he was out of contract last season and we signed him for this season and beyond(perhaps)?
In all honesty i dont know.

And yep loyalty went out the window years ago, especially by players you would think owes a club a few seasons.
A gripe i have is with players that cant get a league gig at there club come to us for greater opportunities to play league, excel and play career best footy and then want out eg.Seebeck.

I agree Smokey.
I was alluding in my post to all ex Perth players that will be available.

Sam Butler, Brandt Colledge, Fraser McInnes, Simon Tunbridge, Tendai Mzungu you would think are all a chance of getting delisted and could possible end up back at Perth.

McInnes imo wont get delisted and i reckon Tunbridge may survive 1 more year.
Butler will also get 1 more year and when his time is up at AFL that will be it for him i reckon.

Colledge and Mzungu are the only 2 imo that will get delisted from the 2 local teams.

Well let's just say at this stage is just speculation. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Subiaco made him an offer after winning the Sandover, that is their style. They did the same the year before trying to lure Dene White after having his best season. That club has no shame. And they know if they approach a player, even if he declines, a year or two down the track after Subi playing in another GF, another flag, if Perth aren't making progress then eventually the player will cave in.

Funny isn't it, couldn't get a regular game with EF, wins a Sandover in his second season at Perth. All of a sudden some are suggesting we are holding him back.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

If he does leave to Subiaco, I'd be looking at getting Declan Jackson and Jordan Bestry as part of the negotiations.

In regards to your home grown talent how are you situated to cater for them. Do you have money in the cap after signing a few high profile players recently. You can expect these guys will want good coin and jobs etc.

Bogensperger turns it over way too much, doubtful Bestry will be playing WAFL next year. Better off looking at Joyce who is all class, or Fetherstonhaugh.
