Sure,you lose a few through the draft and heaven forbid,they end up with West Coast and Fremantle now,as they end up playing against you.

But if you keep a good core of at least 15 or 20 players,that should stand any club in good stead,as they should know each other well enough to keep playing Successfull Footy.But that's the trick with us.

That has stood us in good stead for the last 40 years Grassy!!
That is exactly what we have not done and is the main reason we are a battling Club.
And we will continue to battle until we realise that we must develop our players instead of recruiting a few average players which we expect to be world beaters on their own.
Give Ross Young some help and what have you got.

The Club's focus must always be developing the senior side.

Don't mind those ins and outs atf1. However I think Marlin has been good when he has been in the team. Granted I did not physically see the game on Saturday, listened to it on the radio but for his first season playing league he has done pretty well IMHO. It would be nice for the whole backline and the team to have a player like a Tallan Ames or Darren Rumble back there.

Grassy that's the thing we haven't been a good club for 40 years.

As I said earlier I think that we should look at giving a league game to some of these younger players over the next week or three and then focus on having the best possible colts team available to try and achieve the ultimate of goal of winning a flag.
