Thought I'd get in early this week and turn our attentions to our next opponents in Subiaco.

We've done pretty well the last couple of weeks but will need to take it up another level come Saturday. Goal kicking almost cost us against the Tigers last week and it definitely let us down when we last played the Lions.

Some say Subiaco don't look as consistent as they have over the last couple of seasons however they sit top of the table for a reason and are still a very good unit and if our boys switch off, even for a second they will make us pay for it on the scoreboard.

Should be an interesting game but I reckon the Lions have too much experience and will win by 5-6 goals.

We have helped our Eastern Suburbs brother out by getting a couple of their dirty Victorians out suspended and they will be sitting on the pine this week.

Who got suspended. In the match report it doesn't even say that anyone got reported.

Just saw Kitchin offered a week and Twomey offered two weeks. Horsley also has a hamstring injury.

Demons also have injury concerns of their own. If Wheeler doesn't line up that may even out the ruck a little bit with us not having Graham. However according to today's paper it looks likely that he will.

There's more to a game of footy against Subi than Clancy Wheeler.

I know that DF just saying that with our main ruckman out it may level that area of the game up a little if Wheeler doesn't get up.

Also would be good to kick straight and take our opportunities, something we didn't do when we played the Lions back in round four.

Play just as we have in the last few weeks Dees and we can take it right up to Subi.
Lose, win or draw just stay focussed and hard at it. Remember that Subi don't like it close and tough.
