No info received. I just noticed that he's not on the players list on the Perth website anymore.

My understanding was that Scott Siekierka tore a hamstring off the bone late in last season. At 29 and with his history of hamstring problems it would seem very doubtful to me that he will play again let alone in season 2013.
Good luck to him if he does play but IMO his value to the team may be limited.

I thought I saw an email from the club recently with an update of ins & outs and I thought it included Scott as a returning.

I must have been dreaming, I can't find the email, most strange for me to delete it?

You are right DF. Club website yesterday listed Scotty in "Gains" as returning.

Don't know how I missed that.

I do think though that given his hamstring history he may be a bit "iffy".

Quite right, not exactly a strategic in.

If he gets back (ggod luck Scotty) but another season at most you would think, before his hammy goes again.

He did his hammy round one last season. Did he do it again towards the end of last year as well?

Scott did his hamstring in round 1 last year and I dont think he played again in 2012. It came from a nice shove in the back whilst he was airborne and he didn't even win a free kick.
Scott has been at every training session I've dropped in on, including yesterday evening. He is doing allot of running/short sprinting under supervision so I'm guessing they are managing his hamstring(s)as best they can.
Hayden Busher is still a fair way off. He has been restricted to swimming and weights so far and I think he starts running in about 3 weeks. The extra time in the gym hasn't done his upper body any harm and once fit he wont be pushed out of marking contests easily; he's at every training session stalking around like a caged lion waiting to get into the action. Joel Houghton has had the splint removed from his arm and is running freely, don't know how long before he can commence full contact training.
