Phillips Stubbs Q Train Haywood Noticible league players playing ressies. Many of last year colts looking good. Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Peel had about a dozen AFL players. Two huge ruckmen, Sturt, Erasmus, Cooper Simpson etc...

Harry played in the magoos and played well but unavailable rnd 1. Aaron Clarke needs to do a lot of work on his goal kicking. We played all available players that will play rnd 1 today. Constable, Thompson and Simpson looked to combine well and all class. Regan Clark, Burner, Davis etc all played well with that extra grunt in midfield. Manzone didn't play today. He will come in unless injured.

We were a bit underdone down back but they played their arses off you can't ask much more. Throw Schlensog, Johnston and Ewing in there and we can more than handle the gorillas. We just might be waiting 3 or 4 weeks.

Stubbs played two's worked hard making up for missing too much training but will be a handy forward line up with Stubbs, Cary, Q, A. Clarke, Kemp and Simpson drifting forward.

Most impressive 3rd quarter. A good way to finish off pre season with some positive form. Big test first up against Subi.

Sustained endeavour throughout with pace, running in numbers to the fall of the ball and good use of the ball. A tight defence often under pressure with a lack of height due to injuries. Hopefully that will be remedied soon. Charlie Constable and Sam Simpson blended in well and led with their experience. Looking forward to our season opener.
