Sausage sizzle and can bar will be open and a chance to have a chat with the football department. Good chance for a catch up and a preview of what's to come in 2024. 

Good turnout tonight for the intraclub sausage sizzle and a couple of frothies. My man the big Q had a big night.

A spirited hitout by the boys tonight. The new recruits all seemed to fit in very well. Schlensog did not play. Apparently a slight knee strain but should be ok before our first game.
DD, I did not recognize Big Q at first. I had to ask someone who was that athletic looking player kicking goals. He has trimmed down a lot, moved well and looked the goods. 
Plenty of height. Josh Edwards looked good in ruck.
There are 3 scratchies coming up. Claremont, WCE and Peel. A good lead-up to our first game.

What I noticedQ train had 4 in the first 30 minute quarter. Has trimmed down, moving well and holding his marks.

Simpson kicked a classy banana goal.

Avery holding marks very nicely, 

Poole looking good down backI thought

Phillip and Manzone were a bit quite on the wings.

New ruck form WC loods a good size moves  and competes well.

Sing – no Helmet.Number 4 who ever he was looked lively forward

Overall the competition was strong, Red team jumped out of the blocks but yellow steadied the ship form 10 minutes into the second q.

Quarters were 30/30/20/14minutes

Great  crowd of about 80 people.

Sausage sizzle a steal at $2

I thought it was a great night. The club and PPOA doing a magnificent job. Plenty on the sidelines but good to hear some will suit up next week against Claremont. 

Daniel Hill and Brogan Henry played for the reds. AJ was running laps on the second oval. I think Trevor said he had a minor calf. Jy Lane running laps on second oval as well as he recovers from knee reco. Declan Grocott not on the list anymore. 

Charlie Thompson, Hill and Tarks all played TFAF. Charlie was on the yellow team. Will be good to see them against opposition. Fingers crossed our key recruits don't suffer any serious injuries. Jye Lane will miss the whole season I'm told from an ACL he suffered at the end of last season.

I liked the look of Joseph Chaplin No43 who was recently added to the list.

I am excited to hear HQ has trimmed down.
IMHO he and Clarke can form a formidable tall forward combination. 
Hopefully HQ will work hard when he has not got the ball.
