With 2023 nearly done for the League and Ressies trying to find a few positives ahead of the off season.
Feel free to add your thoughts. Be interesting to see who remains on the list come 2024 and hopefully supplemented by a decent injection of talent and determination from other clubs:

The GoodThe performance of the Colts, really hoping they can cap the year off with a Flag;Recruitment of Charlie Thompson, need to find more like him in the off season;Number of players who have been given League debuts, we’ve had individual 43 players pull on a jumper to date; The bravery shown by Peter German in fronting up with a match report early each week! In all seriousness credit to him and the club and appreciate his straight forward views on where the club is at;Michael Sinclair moving to the forward line;Development of Baldwin-Wright and Ajang;Improvement of Avery, becoming a much more consistent player;Getting games into players of the like of Hill, Johnston, Brogan-Henry, Davis, Haywood

The BadNot being able to get a few extra wins;Quartermaine not being able to cement a permanent league position; No younger players who have immediately stood out as being quality WAFL players;Stack not able to contribute at league level;Probably lose a few Colts players to AFL.The UglyNearly losing to West Coast reserves; The loss of Jaiden Hunter in the AFL mid season draft; The amount of games where we were clearly not competitive and particularly a few quarters from Hell.

Jaiden Hunter was a big loss.
At the end of the day, he's played only 2 or 3 games for Essendon where he showed some promise with a good outing in his second game (5 goals I think).
Then another season ending injury, (a back I think and not another knee).
Be interesting to see if he survives at Essendon.
Good luck to him.
On the good side PG has been hinting, particularly in today's report, at what we need.
Over to Barra to give him everything he wants.
I hope that PG can entice them to us.

For me priorities are a tall forward aka Hunter or Bradtke.
A tall defender who's agile and has good skills.
A classy clearance expert, down and under.
I have a wish that Quartermaine will stand up.
Will maybe get another chance this week.
He needs to work hard over summer.
Some of the promising talent in the Colts need to be carefully developed.

Great
The Quarter Time roasts. Thompson, Cooley, Avery,
Good
The back line in general, Manzone, Two Dads, Jack Poole, Phillip
The Ugly
Lack of improvement from AJ and Kristian Carey. Maybe add Bird and the Q train to this as well (but as someone said Q is very young for a key forward). I still hold out hope for The Q Train, Bird and AJ. Stack not committing. Conor McPartland and Sam Stubbs not going on as well as we all hoped. Loosing Regan Hill to Cricket.
Things to be careful of.
We have a lot of good players who play a similar role. Byrne, Regan Clarke, Dellamarta, Barwick, Give us a couple of big inside mids. Possibility of loosing Sinclair - who looked to have clicked in his completely new role on Saturday.

Look to pick up Taberner if Freo cut him loose.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Yes, the weekly reports a long overdue innovation.
It has been clear for most of the season that we just do not have the cattle to be a contender. We are still a long way back but I am sure Germo has worked that out. One could argue we are in a similar position as WCE. Next season should see some big changes with positive development of our lists. The word, as I understand, is that we are already in recruiting mode but that will not be an overnight fix.
For starters, we will need the usual - tall key players up forward and up back, DBW is doing well but AJ just does not do enough for me so a dominant ruckman should be on the shopping list.
I can see that up to half of the players who have been regulars won't be around next season but we still have some promising youngsters who are in the ressies and also the Colts.
Strength and fitness have been our undoing for a long time. Generally we do not get players into the gym to build their body strength. For me this has been a crucial area for improvement for a long time which must be addressed.

Smokey PG alluded to this in his report.
Mentioned both broken tackles and Gym.
I think he is the way forward.
The Club needs to give him everything he wants.
