Is it because we are too small with no meat on our bones or is it the plating surface.

worth considering a good spiking at season end to try soften the bastard a bit

I find it quite spongy to walk on these days. First couple of years it was like a bowling green. But the longer Perth and West Coast continue to have big injury lists from training and playing on it the more I guess it points to the surface but when Fremantle's base was Fremantle Oval they suffered a lot of injuries and up until this year had a lot of injuries at Cockburn but this year they have enjoyed a good run with injuries.
