A scrappy affair but could not fault the endeavour. An easy win for Subi who wern't at their best but showed once again the gap between us and the real contenders of the comp. The endeavour is only good if you can match it with skills and footy smarts. We are so far off the pace despite some very close losses. Today too many unforced errors were costly.
DBW 28 hitouts and 13 disposals vs Delahunty 21 and 30. Cannot believe how you can leave Dela on his own for 4 quarters.
Byrner 36 touches clearly our best/ but good to see Regan Clarke back to form with 23.
Jack Avery super early finished with 23 touches including a game high 11 marks, Hw looks back to form in number 17 jumper.
We were missing 8 best 22 today. The kids that have been getting a game are doing well and improving Sing, Perko, Gray had 13 tackles, and big Q showed a bit with 2 good goals but will need more games. The Sherriff piped up with a couple of goals. He has now played 45 games for the club and kicked 45 goals.
For a change we received 19 frees to 17 but I counted 7 everyday frees that we did not receive.
Nicko gets better with every game. He has made good progress this season.
