Yesterday I heard something interesting. In the third quarter Adam Faulkner had the ball about 55-60 out on a 35 degree angle. He centred the ball and it was marked by a Swans player and he converted the goal. After though Dayle Garlett seemed to be remonstrating with Faulkner as to why he didn't dish of the handball to Garlett and he could run onto his left foot. You got the goal for pete sake why would you turn around and start saying poor me I didn't get the kick. If that's his attitude can see why clubs may think twice about drafting him.

We didnt kick a goal at all in the 3rd qtr (& 1st qtr for that matter)Faulkner chose the wrong option & the ball was turned over yet again!

Sorry I forgot. It was the third everything happened as said but the ball was kicked for through for a point. Faulkner did centre the footy and it was marked but that person kicked it through for a point.

Jesus! Check out some of those players Swans had back then. No wonder they gave us a flogging.

Yeah some flogging
1981 from memory on a Monday public holiday I think
I remember drowning my sorrows in the can bar which was located next to the visitors change rooms.

Having seen both Perth and Swans in the last couple of weeks, it would suggest Perth should win by 6+ goals. Swans were beaten by a very average but enthusiastic young Subi side, Swans had a pile more disposals and smashed Subi on the inside 50's. Unbelievably wasteful and too many players looked disinterested and frustrated with each other. Subi were slightly better and made a few less mistakes so managed to win by 13 points just by sheer persistence and better tackling pressure, so from what I saw as a very slick, fit disciplined Perthy side, they should win easily unless Swans suddenly realise they have a pretty good list ... on paper at least and get some confidence back into their play, they could challenge most teams apart from Claremont.

He has been going ok to well, but I would like to see him move into the excellent category.

If this is correct TFAF then that's definitely two outs for the game on the weekend.

How is O'Sullivan and Bateman tracking? If Chance has done is hamstring then youd say maybe another week and then we have the bye. This would mean that he would come back against Swans on June 15th, 4 weeks after he had done it.

Daniel O'Sullivan probably missed through concussion I would suspect so he should be right to come back in this week unless there is something else wrong with him.

Simon Tunbridge for me should come into contention as well. He is the tall in our forward line that straightens us up in my opinion and he also takes some of the pressure of Fraser McInnes.

Nick Kane made is way back from a hamstring injury last week in the reserves also.

O'Sullivan, Tunbridge and Kane are the three players that I would bring into the squad at this stage. This is a squad of 23 so one someone will have to miss out.
