Congratulations to Clarement for promoting their game against Subiaco at the Showgrounds this Saturday as a family day and supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation with their Real Men Wear Pink campaign. Hopefully this worthy initiative will be supported by both Claremont and Subiaco followers.

Our sash will be pink this game so it'll be a pretty undiscrete promotion! Perhaps all clubs in the future can get in on it and have pink on their jumoers in future and make a round of it. Good for the charity ofcourse but would also bring a few extra through the gates. Hopefully $ubi can dip into the ashtray and make a nice donation.
Onto the game and its probably win this week or its bye bye to finals hopes, not a good time for us to be playing $ubi on the rebound!

How much would a set of 22-25 jumpers cost a club?

Not knocking the Tigers as I think it is a great initiative and a very worthy cause just in reference to your point TOO about all clubs getting involved. Could all clubs afford to do it, if it costed somewhere between $10-15,000. That's been some clubs profit margin the last couple of seasons.

Hopefully you can get a good crowd. If you get 1500 I reckon you will be going well.

Great news with the WAFC announcing they are chipping in to provide the CL players matching pink petticoats & bloomers

A great initiative ... well done!

The President of the Cancer Council said that they had a number of sponsors for the jumper change.

Well done to the CFC for this initiative, they are also offering free family entry passes. Subi are also promoting it on their website where you can download the family pass.

Apparently they will auction the jumpers and the funds will go to the Cancer Council.

There is also a Clothing Sales Expo at the Showgrounds on Saturday.

Senior, you can take along your partner, girlfriends, sisters or your regular correspondents from Swans and splash some cash to show that you're "a dedicated follower of fashion!" :)

Anything that promotes Breast cancer awareness is a good thing.
Apparently Claremont wore a lot of pink on their jumpers in this game?
Pity the other 5 Wafl clubs didn't? Would be good to see all the teams guernseys splashed with a bit of pink for the cause in a fixture.
Interesting to note the Showgrounds match had the most attendance too.

Yes good crowd for 2 clubs who apparently have no suppporters. Great promo effort by the CFC.

The western suburbs teams are leading the way with promo days and charity work. Very satisfying to see the results in the attendance figures. Well done Claremont
