Looks like Tom Willet has returned Tiger of Old.

I saw a big fella at training a couple weeks ago, couldn't find out who he was except that he had kicked a heap of goals down Albany way. I suspect it might be young Darcy Camerons brother who won the competition medal last season. Could give us some size in the forward line.

Tiger of Old, I've noticed the players list has been updated on both the wafl site & Claremont site. Deleted are Andrews, Richo, Thomson, Schammer, Jones, Patrick Gibson & Morton. Still on there are Browne, Foster & Medhurst-are these guys playing on?
Added were Franz & Willet. No sign of Orzel's name, maybe still in fee discussions with Peel.
Went past the show grounds-won't need a CHF, can't get over how wide and short the ground is. Development in full swing, sad to see those beautiful old trees at the railway end gone.
Whilst we won't be anywhere near the power house of the past 4 years, reckon we'll be more than competitive and will surprise a few clubs.

Those online player lists are useless, i wouldn't be surprised to see Jaxon Crabbs name still on there. I think Foster is an assistant at East Freo, Browne and Medhurst definitely retired. Orzel signed and training.
I wrote a topic on the showgrounds earlier on, sure is different in dimensions to your traditional wafl ground, will be interesting.
I didn't expect the old moreton bay fig trees to survive the development but i thought they could have left the norfolk pines at the R P Rodriguez entrance as a link to the past, they don't take up alot square metres after all. I hope the new Facilities turn out alright, i don't have alot faith in bureaucrats and architects and urban planners and all these jokers that run these projects nowadays. Footy clubs and grandstands need to be kept simple and functional, not win design awards (watch the dickheads stuff up the new afl stadium - that'll have as much simplicity as rocket science).
Really looking forward to this season, we'll be in the thick of it.

Depth looking ok with Tigers. Where has Willet been?

Not sure Astro, lot of players these days like to take a year off to travel or play in lower leagues. He's a handy player, given what we've lost, he certainly adds depth, reckon he should be a starter. He played about 20 games in 3 seasons, due to the depth at the time couldn't get a regular game, i would've picked him ahead of Jones in the last 2 years.

Looks like we've lost Jesse Laurie.
