MacAttack - when I spoke to Aitchison after the elimination final (a game he played succesfully as a tagger) he told me that if he is suspended again he would be banned from football for life. This was due to his having a total of 15 weeks suspension throughout his career. I think the threshold is 16 weeks in total for a player, with AFL guys getting double that (32 weeks). Anyway, if this is remotely correct, surely he wouldnt go to the WAFL where he is at a greater risk of being suspended (due to cameras, more observers, etc).

surely he has got more chance of getting done in the WAAFL with the Kangaroo court tribunal that they run.

In fairness, I tend to agree with you Shirtfront having previously been suspended by the WAAFL for what I considered minor offences.

However, my point is more surrounding the fact that if there is a limit to the amount of weeks you can be suspended in your career, and Matt is close to that limit, I am surprised if he went back to the WAFL. Anyway, if he does end up back in the WAFL all the best to him. Very handy player and knows how to find the ball.
