Great start to the round with a with a big 33 point win to the cobras to kick start their campaign, the new willo recruits just couldn’t get firing and let that one slip. Piara a solid win and a lot more efficient in there forward fifty compared to Kingsley, interesting to see on the team sheet Piara have picked up ex-freo player Joel Houghton. Gossy have picked up a few players from High Wycombe also as they held on against the valley boys. Belmont were right in it but just couldn’t close the gap against Kwinana and young Winmar from Kwinana will cause a few headaches for teams this year. The Quinn’s and eel game was close until the last quarter.
Gossy v Kwinana. If there was ever a statement to be made to the rest of the comp to show that your the real deal, this Saturday would be that day for Kwinana.. massive game out at gossy. They need to get the ball in fast and let their small forwards put the damage on the score board. Gossy always a tough task at home in front of there crowd. Kwinana by 4 points
Quinn’s will host Kingsley at the bull ring and while Quinn’s got on the winners list last week, Kingsley went back to the drawing board. The Bulls by 5 goals
GOTR. Grand final rematch, cobra’s very impressive last week especially with there run and carry. Belmont fought hard all day but couldn’t sneak home. I think the cobras will get one back.Cobras by 3 goals
A great start for Piara last week, and although they lost a few players in the off season they definitely have filled the gaps with some quality they have bought in. Willo need to get there star recruits firing and not start zero n two. Piara at home by 2 goals, PS get there early parking is terrible.
The valley and eels is a bit of a local derby. Can the eels bounce back and can valley run out four quarters? Valley by 21 points
Good luck everyone
