Leaving aside the other teams in the finals for a moment, it will be an interesting contest between Subi and South. The Lions have two weaknesses, a first-rate ruckman and a genuine key forward, both of which South could exploit to advantage. The side picked tomorrow is a good side and it will be expectted to win the premiership, having lost only one game in the season. However, having said that, in common with all Subi supporters, one is nervous about the finals.

just being realistic mate. with Horsley being managed with a knee, Phelan gone for the season, Wheeler missing multiple weeks with an ankle...there's 3 of our most important players taken out to a certain extent right there. it would be like the doggies having Schloithe, Kelly and Saunders all under a cloud.

BC: that is true, but we have played the whole season with our best five or six out -- Della, Wheeler, Phelan, Horseley -- sometimes together ans still won. That is what the fans of the other clubs notice and that is why they will have us as favourites.

We have not been behind at half-time in a game since round three.

It has been a good effort by the club.

I posted this a few weeks ago and we are now at the point of no tomorrow....

This week the message should be clear and simple to the squad and the coaches are we going to succumb to being Subiaco's whipping boys once again?
Huge psychological and physical challenge ahead and it will need to a 100 per cent effort from everyone.
