They played it very well Subiaco - full credit to them in grabbing the 4 points in this game
We got a whacking & that's about the gist of it , few little lessons given in the process
It's disappointing yes but we'll bounce back & a couple of guys will find themselves playing in the warm-up next week

Comprehensive shellacking I would guess that a few egos took a huge hit out that result and the club has a bit of soul searching to re group and focus on the task next week V West Coast reserves team.
Just an interesting side issue SF mids. You allowed yourselves to be owned and intimidated by Cockie , Horsley , Kitchin and Adamson and did not give a yelp ...very disappointing and a huge Psychological advantage to them .
But as I have said well played Lions too good for us today.

Mate I reckon the balance has been that little bit off - it could be time for Sol to come work with Higgo , Delahunty killed the pig there.

Yep I reckon Solomon has to come back into the team and be played every week. He is starting to get the reputation of being the fall guy for team balance.
There are a couple of youngsters in Pearson, N Strom , Russell , Florenca , who I reckon should be in line for higher duties ahead of Steve Verrier mate.
Blokes who need longer time in the reserves to find touch include Brendan Verrier, Donaldson, Chris Luff, Z Strom had one haul of five goals in a reserves game where we win by 100 plus points fair dinkum I reckon I could have kicked 10. Cook was very poor yesterday and needs to do more.

No I would not think so Grassy they knew the fixtures and would have setting themselves for this contest...

We will be seeing the likes of Parker , Florenca , Solomon over the coming few weeks mate and look every single thing gets magnified when you lose it's part & parcel but there isn't season that goes past where you don't get drilled by a switched on
opposition.
And it's always good to see a few switchups along the way , might find a few things mate
