Sadly I would like to think Ryan and Lockyer were ex EF boys.....but alas EF missed the boat there.....as for Hancock....tidy but nothing else TBH....

The big worry for us are Souths tall forwards who toweled us up big time in round 1, plus their mids had a field day. Must say though that we have been gradually building since then. Been a big turnover of players since last year and they are starting to get the hang of Schoey's game plan, Guys like Litherland and Anderson are settling in nicely and young Baker in his first 2 games has been a revelation, tiny bloke, would look up to Hams!! but very strong and very smart footballer.

Subis small to mid sized forwards as a group are probably better than Souths but Souths talls will murder us if we let their mids get to much quality ball from the contests. Both backlines are solid, Subi's like the rest of the team have been improving each week but don't have heaps of height although Heal and Lockyer both handle that situation well.

Like all games the mids will decide it, who can provide the best service for the two best forward lines in the comp, like always we will get smashed in the tapouts but Wheeler and Dela should have the edge around the ground. Souths can afford to bomb it in a bit where as Subi will need to be more precise and hit -up the leading guys like Sokol, Stevenson who was terrific last week and Ryan, although expect Ryan to do some head surfing as usual. Good forecast not hot and maybe overcast so should be a ripper game. So hard to pick but maybe home ground will get Subi over the line by a couple of points.

Singha wrote: Games between subi and Souths are generally great games with attacking, high scoring footy and plenty of skills on display. However I just can't stomach the head ducking of schloithe and Hams to be honest. Last year in one game I think schloithe got 5 frees in the first quarter from throwing himself onto the ground at any opportunity. Hopefully the umpires can ignore it and let us enjoy the game. I see schloithe is often in Souths best players this year so hopefully he is concentrating more on playing instead of playing for frees

Crap Singha from the WAFL website for your info... Round 7 2016 only received 3 free kicks
2nd Semi 2016 only received 3 free kicks??
I have also watched a majority of SF games this year and I can tell you the umps are watching this very closely and have in my opinion gone to the other extreme of not paying high contact on him when it has occurred. He is also in far better form than he was in last year..
Lets just stay positive and focus on the positives of the game and possible match ups....

Come on Dwert....you were the one saying lets get the banter started on this one ....LOL.....Singha just gettin things started mate.....reckon SF will have all of Subi's usual bases covered.....tho is Sokol playing for Subi on Sat?....or will it be Baileys turn this time....SF by 27

Thanks Freez... Lets hope it's not one of those ex EF boys in Ryan , Lockyer or Hancock
Not sure what has happened with Bailey not named in ressies for the second consecutive week, I see Ned's boy is in the mix and Sokol will need to harnessed.

Russell and or Dragovich might under the gun for Hams. Edwards not named again this week.

Should be ripper.

Groin according to Saturday's worst. Subi by 22

DG how long since we won 3 in a row in the colts, and those 3 wins over Cl, SD & SF.
Souths were a colts powerhouse like SD & CL but are bottom this year????
