Well for the first time since 1994 we have our ground back , hopefully after the FCC has ended it's temporary occupation (during the Council Offices renovation) that eyesore will be demolished as part of the Oval re-realignment back to it's original position.

FCC bought it Grass - nothing to do with any local club , it'll get used temporarily but would go if the ground was shifted back to the Victoria Stand

We still have the TAB Grassy but only just.

Grass - if it had been properly sectioned into a Grandstand type deal , anything may have been possible

No

We have been heavily restricted on the ground use due to AFL requirements - this now has been eradicated , which is why CFC have investigated temporarily tenanting it until their new stadium is complete

Now the ground has flexibility for any event

Yep great news. all the crap about training etc is history.

We wont have the tossers driving up and down during WAFL games either straight through the crowd!

Its great its back to a genuine community venue, with the FCC using it it should be more useful as a venue.

Plans are all done up for the demo of IT and our old Griff John Pav, for a new wrap around development for SFFC, EFFC and FCC, that will include a new FCC Gym and Business Residential development over the top of the Stan Reilly Centre,

The Oval realignment with be a bonus and it looks like new parkland will go in, losing the members car park not the best, but I think there will be underground parking for members on non match days.

As you say , it was a crap design to start with, no idea why it never included any seating, basically its a white elephant as it is.

Do you reckon they could bring back the velodrome Baz!
