Get a couple back in for the game against a long-time rival at home and it should be another close fought affair

well it was an absolute beauty - on for young and all for every second of the game 
both sides had their moments and their chances but in the end it might have been a fitting result to two very evenly matched sides if I can explain it properly
The Cardinals got a dubious and fortunate free kick 20 odd metres out with little time left and it was the drawing kick from Keitel but really it could have gone either way
At least we both got points out of it I guess and we've had something like 6 or 7 - could be 8 of these draws now I think over the long storied history between the clubs
Ah well shit happens
 

Hang on Southener, you blokes got four free kicks in front of goals resulting in 3 goals 1 point and then your members had the audacity to boo the umpires off. Come on mate, I thought you southern garlics were better than that.

No I wasn't one of the booing crowd mate it was a pretty good game of footy and the draw might have been the fitting result I guess

I wouldn’t think you would be the type of bloke that would boo the umpires after today’s game because you sound like a bloody good bloke, in my opinion its reflected in the sensible comments you post. I have a lot of respect for the Southern Garlics BUT $14.00 for a hamburger in your social rooms. Up at Joondalup, we have Joe Scarfo’s gourmet meat patty, buns from the local bakery, carrot, lettuce, tomato, onions, all from the local markets, mayo, sauce, cheese from Woollies, ALL FOR $8.00.

in the times that I do grab a feed from the club I generally fork out the coin because it's a kind of club levy that helps out during the course of a season
I've consumed far worse fare elsewhere in my time too
But as you post the burgers at your home ground are pretty good value compared to what most clubs can organise

Exciting contest, could of gone either way, always know it was going to be longish final qrt, couldn't hear the final siren, thought we had sneaked that point in.

Oh well one the probably go away, the 2 points will come in handy down the track.

As for burgers, never bought tucker at the ground int he decades Ive been going to the footy, always have a decent feed at home before I go, better quality, healthier and cheaper.
