we were on the right side of the ledger but geez we had some poor kicking skills all day which kept Swan Districts in the game all afternoon
It resembled a finals sort of game where tight contested footy ruled and credit must be given to Swans for their endeavour for that
we'd have to take stock and look at replacing a couple of players who didn't do much

Not too sure what to make of this match. South Fremantle having approx 40 more ball disposals and 6 more scoring shots on goal, and yet winning by the one point. Were Swans unlucky today or did Souths use their get out of jail card. The middle of the league ladder is looking very interesting with Swans only a game ahead of East Perth whom they play next week. That match is a must win for both clubs. Whilst it makes for a very interesting derby next week too. Both South Fremantle and Easts winning 4 of their last 5 games.

the ball was pretty much between both sides' half backs most of the day and the key defenders shut out each of the game's big forwards
So the score wasn't large but really the game could have gone either way right to the end

Can't quite believe we got out of jail with that one, so wasteful but in the end got some reward, wasn't not sure how long to go in a NAIL BITER - please fix the time clock.

What has happened to Swans fan base, really dropped away.

Big test this week Baz. East Perth at Bazzo normally pulls between 3.5 to 5,000,weather permitting. Both teams are in pretty good shape in the 2022 season.
The Eagles joining the Wafl hasn't helped crowds either.I think we need to give them consessions to make them more competitive.
As for Swans maby played finals two times since 2013.Been down for a fair while now.Historically Swans crowds improve when they become more competitive.
That happens in all sports ,not just Aussies Rules.2022 is the lowest AFL crowds since 1996.

People are defo losing interest in going to the AFL, cannot beleive how poor the crowds are especially locally with dockers in the mix - should be packing optus out, cannot even half fill it, they reckon during covid everyone realised footy wasnt that big a deal to go to , didnt miss it and prefer to just sit and home and watch in comfort, costs and price of things hitting hard now as well.

Dont know mate SDFC always had a good base even in ordinary times, and they have been in the mix for finals for a while now this year, just not there anymore, I was with a SDFC  mate at the game and he reckons age is really starting to kick in with many SDFC fans.
