Former Carlton star Chris Yarran has been described as a “poster boy” for the devastating effects of methamphetamine on the community as he was jailed for five years over a violent drug-fuelled “one man crime spree”.

Very sad story Mike.
Was probably the most talented player I have seen come through the ranks at SD over the last 30-40 years but ultimately probably didnt have the career he should have on pure ability and skill due no doubt to the evil ravages of ice.

Very sad story, he was such a talented player. This may sound simplistic but it's all about choices, choose to take drugs or choose not to. Lets hope he makes the best choices for himself and his family from now on

Very simplistic! Many people take drugs,a lot of other factors behind his choices to do what he did.
