That is a brilliant result

nearly as bad as 1992 for the Australians. Australia were expected to win that cup and also qualified for the sum total of nothing; no one expected England to do much this time around. Only Root would receive a pass mark for his performance in the world cup as a whole. The rest were a rabble, typified by four of them getting themselves out -- Morgan (he should lose the captaincy for that shot alone), Taylor, Moen Ali, and Jordan. It will be interesting to see how the seam bowlers go back in England this summer/winter, particularly Anderson and Broad. Sometimes, things can catch up with you quickly as a seam bowler ( I remember poor Gellespie in 2005) and it may be happening to the two English bowlers. I have always thought Onions could bowl, hopefully they will include him at some point in the Ashes.
