Is anyone else on here a bit of a MotoGP aficionado as I really enjoy it. It's a bit more exciting than F1 and not so predictable. My favourite riders are Dovi, Cal Crutchlow and of course Jack Miller. My question is does anyone think Marquez is the greatest of all time or should we wait until his career comes to an end?

I was absolutely glued to watching MotoGP when Casey Stoner was racing BC or the old 500cc World Championship as it used to be called. Absolutely loved watching him stick it up the wog boy who when Casey was struggling said he should be doing better on the Ducati. Wog boy went to Ducati the following year, a match made in heaven you would think but you would think Rossi had never ridden a bike before he was falling off the thing that often and not sure he ever made the top 10 in qualifying or a race on the Ducati before spitting it after 2 years there and heading back to his trusty Yamaha.

I can't get into it much these days, Marquez as you say dominates and Jack Miller is no Casey Stoner though put him on a factory bike and who knows? When you look at the age of Marquez BC I think he's already got Valentino covered. Yeh i like Dovi too.
Get on your bike.

Yes I enjoyed the 500cc days as well DD. Mind you, with 1000cc bikes in the premier class these days it does make it a bit more rough and tumble. I think Miller is riding above himself when he manages to stay on the thing and is outperforming Danilo Petrucci who got the factory Ducati ride ahead of Miller. I really enjoy heading up to KL and watching it at Sepang...great track and always plenty of action but will get to Philip Island one day. As an aside and off topic, I introduced my wife to F1 a few years ago and now she's a tragic...we'll be in Baku in June 2020 for the F1 which should be brilliant.

Phillip Island this weekend which should be a terrific race given the high speed corners and rise and fall in height. Also the weather is looking a bit dodgy which should add to the drama...hopefully Jack Miller will do a bit better than Japan last week where he started like a train but then fell off the pace when his tyres started to deteriorate. Quatararo, Marquez, Dovi, Vinales, Rins all in the frame for a podium and even old man Rossi could surprise...should be a beauty.
