Thing is SS, when NZ lose, especially to Aust, it's as though the game never happened....if NZ had won, I would have a queue of folk asking me if I watched it etc.....silence is golden sometimes....especially over here in NZ.

After Aust won the WTC and WC ODI, it was though it never happened.....though when NZ won those first few WC ODI matches, they were crowing like canaries. If and when NZ wins in cricket I just piss them off by saying what a wonderful side they are, or how  good was Conway or Southee etc....they just don't know what to comeback with.....Kiwi's hate Aussie's being nice to them.....it takes away their thunder....I don't mean a single word of it, but it keeps them at bay....

Freeze do the Kiwis still try and bring up rugby at every opportunity to Aussies like yourself?.....not realising (or caring for that matter) that it is very much a minority sport in Australia and 95% of the population do not even follow the game here?

Yeah all the time BH....water off a duck's back....the ABs are actually a great team.....so dont begrudge their success...which super annoys the average Kiwi rugby fan.....as for the game itself.....like 95% of the Aust population...no interest whatsoever.....a game that you have to go backwards to go forwards, only one player kicks, scrums and mauls.....any one  can throw a ball....but can they handpass it?

Bum sniffers playing cross-country wrestling, more so in league which is a far worse spectacle than Union, unless they go the bash of course.

Good follow up by Australia.Didnt look to have enough runs.Great bowling with man of the match ,Cummins and Zampa standouts.
Zampa went for 13 of his first over.On a wicket that didn't look spin friendly.MM stuck with him and he cleaned up the middle order and tail

The tears are definitely flowing....mine in laughter and the locals in despair at their injuries and missing personnel. Only early days in to the tour....but definitely good to see Aust chalk up a few early victories

Don't know which thugby code it was Freeze, but there was a saying that something like “rugby is a game where 3 men try to push 2 men up 1 man’s date”.
Anyway, their cricket team isn’t worth a cracker atm and are unwatchable.

Now Wagner has pulled the pin. Interesting time to announce your retirement....2 days before a test series.

Wagner was told that he was not in New Zealand's plans for the coming test series. So at 37 he saw the writing on the wall. Given he seemed to have had Steve Smiths measure the last time the two teams met, I thought he may have been worth a spot, particularly with the absence of Jamieson.

What if one of their fast boys get injured? Plus if Aust win the 1st test match, NZ will be extra desperate to win the 2nd test.....pretty short sighted by the NZ management. Plus a big ask for young O'Rourke to jump from that SA batting line up to Aust line up, regardless of how fragile folk think Aust are.....the likes of Smith, Uzzie and Labuschagne have a few more test runs under their belts than some of those SA batsmen.
