What do people think of Ty Vickery getting 4 weeks for his deliberate punch on Dean Cox? I think it is probably a little light considering some of the other penalties handed down this year for much lesser offences and Cox was concussed and forced out of the game. 6 weeks would have been a penalty more commensurate with the offence IMO, but it appears that he has received a lighter penalty because of his remorse and the fact he pleaded guilty.

exactly as I expected,,told a bloke at work about 4 weeks and that was what he got.

He got the same as the MRP would have given him,weak as piss by the tribunal!
Blokes have been getting 2 and 3 weeks for accidental head high contact
King hit = min 6 weeks imo.

If cox didn't instigate the incident then I reckon he would of got 6 or 7. Because there was the initial cox hit hence the 4 weeks. Don't think dean will do that again!

Yeah with the Coxy elbow and the last second where Coxy squatted to jump for the throw in, 4 weeks seems reasonable. Ty obviously meant to hit him but if Coxy was standing up a bit more it would've hit on the shoulder or chest.

at least vickery got something. the reigning Australian of the year jumps off the ground and hits hawks hodge I believe and gets fark all. smacked his head - 2 weeks minimum. jumps off the ground for Christ sake. fyfe clashes heads as a bump from ground level. two blokes going hard at the ball, no jumping for contact. and could lose the brownlow - there needs to be an outcry should this happen.
