Its impossible to say really as you never know what the future holds for them both. There is no doubt about it, if Grundy's body holds up he will be a first class ruckman. I do think NicNat would be better at ball ups, centre bounces etc but I think Grundy's work around the ground would have him covered.

You would have to wait till next year when Natanui is fit, but at this stage both Grundy at 19 and Zac Clarke at 22 are both more effective than the former.

Most ruckmen dont find their own ball.

If Natanui can take a couple of contested marks per game, high number of hitouts to advantage and maybe one or two goals then I dont think you can ask much more of him than that. Obviously he has a bit more maturing to do, I think he can develop and hopefully pick up a heap of Cox's abilities.

As he has been injured, I would have ratehred Grundy. But 100% fit for round 1 next season, and I had the choice, it would be Natanui. But Grundy looks like he is going to be a great ruckman, reminded me a bit of Kruezer in his earliest years.

I still like Naitanui. Very good with 1 percenters that dont show on stats. you see it when he plays, very team orientated boy.

once he gets a season without interruptions, he will be a game changer. He has his flaws, who doesnt. it seems the tall poppy theory rears its head with this fellow. alot of focus on his negatives, rather than his positives. Id have him in my side anyday. he is still young.

Grundy good too, but what has he played, 5 games? Still has a way to go just yet before comparing him to anyone. These days everyone seems to want to rush players into stardom. He shouldnt be included in such topics after 5 games.

Agree Jardine. No ruckman is able to chase and pressure and tackle like Natanui does. Also I havent seen a ruckman burst from a pack with speed, other than Natanui.

Both going to be very good players so lets just sit back and watch them progress.

Natanui is an athlete of quality but lacks the ability to get in the right places at the right time. Most times he goes for a mark he is behind the other players and looks great when he actually takes the mark, but that isn't very often. His positioning around the ground isn't good. I don't know that this deficiency in his game can be taught, he may just be an exciting player who never quite turns his natural talents into those of a good, consistent performer. He is entertaining.
