It seems the total support for the AFL from the presidents has forced Little to back down and accept the penalties from the AFL.

After reading the charges I expect once the ASADA have finished their report the players will be sanctioned, the players have already admitted to injecting AOD9064 a banned substance, ASADA has this information , Tymosyn Beta 4 is also a banned substance reported in the charges that has been injected.

Remember this is only the interim report, so these penalties are for bringing the game into disrepute I would guess that once infractions are handed down these penalties could change.

I heard on the news today that one Esserden player has broken ranks and is looking at a legal case against the club. Anyone able to substantiate that?

If you need further evidence why the players will recieve infractions this interview with Dank regarding Thymosin Beta4 pretty much seals the deal, this shitstain of a club should be deregistered let alone kicked out of the finals for 2013.

How can you penalise a whole club when only 3 have been charged?
Now there making deals? Shows good leadership at AFL level. They say the club has no doping case to answer yet still hand out penalties - But Essendon must take the take the fall... Me well agree with bringing the game into disrepute OK.. but if they go further they could find themselves in court due to these statements and LOSE.

What are you on about Cardy have you been on the piss, have you read the link I posted it has the interview with Dank where he states that he injected the player's with the banned drug Thymosin Beta4 theirs your doping charge for you right there let alone aod9064 which is also banned according to ASADA and WADA.

And if Essendon aren't guilty why has the President toned down his litigation talk he's been going on about for the last week, its because the AFL has the full support of the other presidents in this matter, they were briefed yesterday regarding the charges and all voted to give the AFL there full support.

Asada hasn't even finished there investigation yet and when it does expect this shitstain of a club and its players to get reamed even further, I wouldn't discount Essendon having to raid the Wafl and other leagues to top up their lists after infractions are handed down.

My main point is the AFL bureaucracy have made a huge mess of the whole issue big time and it appears it is continuing.

You obviously have a thing against the Essendon Football club? Gee glad it wasnt Collingwood or everyone would be crying foul

I wasnt aware Danks was also involved with Cronulla Sharks as well.
I was a bit of a fence sitter but after watching the 0730 report and getting a few more facts I am convinced their was not duty of care to the players and a lot more is involved with the import of the supplements etc
Down to the point of a barred person actually making the Supplements with unsafe ingrediants

Watch this if you havent it certainly gives a good insight into the trade

Nothing against the Bombers Cardy I just hate drug cheats, the only people to blame in this whole saga are Hird and the Essendon FCC.

No problems.. Monday should be a BIG day heard the penalties that could be handed out. Wow... 2.5 million fine to the club. Loss of early draft picks. Hird suspended for 12 months etc..

Stephen Dank is the one to blame for this PN....big & brave man that he is...I still want to hear Hird's side of the story before I condemn him for eternity.... Essendon did not set out to knowingly cheat and to label the players drug cheats is akin to shooting Bambi for lack of a better pun. I'd like to see every single player confront Dank as one and demand to know every single minute detail of what he gave to them and to ask him to justify why he has or hasn't poisoned them and if he won't then just beat the utter fcuk outta him...there will be no lawyers to hide behind if a bit of old skool tribal justice is handed out...the kind of punishment handed out to dishonest drug dealers in the rest of society and most likely the only thing that works on blokes like him.
