having lived in victoria for a short while anchorman, it is much the same thing there too in terms of their own. media across the board are in theory just puppets. yes a baseless story though no doubt they will target several suns players. all clubs will not just eagles.

very dissapointed with north yesterday. they were just terrible. a season of heart breaking losses now taking their toll clearly. I must say the game yesterday was just appalling as a spectacle. fremantle happy with win but some of the skills shown were at times as bad as ours were. i found it a most average uninspiring game. the dockers are really setting themselves up though. as for eagles they looked better than they have all year but still lose. they will be lucky to make finals unless they bring that type of game for teh rest of the year. they could beat essendon. freo could beat cats. north may beat Giants but who doesnt .

yes winning ugly is still winning.

no doubt ugly can win anyone a flag if they get it right. if they dont it can look very ugly the other way around. watching grand finals recently the sides competing have this incredible intensity. almost mercenary like on the day. we have been spoilt with grand finals in 05,06,08,09,10,11 and 2012. truly remarkable contests not always pretty (ugly in patches) but thoroughly brilliant. fremantle cant think too far ahead yet. just getting there is hard enough. there are about 6 clubs who can possibly win it.

Anchorman it wouldnt be next season as you refered to in your leading post,the article did mention that those players were contracted next season so they would not be available to any other club until 2015 which was infered in the article.

I would imagine if they wanted home that they would go to one of the local Perth clubs that presented the best offer although Matera does have a strong family background associated with the Eagles...who knows that may carry some weight!

As i stated in my earlier post,players will go to the club with the best offer and if thats Freo then thats where they will end up..end of story.
You are right the Dockers do look and are playing much better than the Eagles.i think from here the Eagles will struggle to make the 8.

I didnt take the article like you did..that they will all end up at the Eagles,i took it as the Eagles will be chasing there signatures!
