Another loss this week against the Tigers and any hope of a flag will be gone, in fact come the frist derby it will take some sort of miracle to even make the 8. They have a chance in coming weeks with Tigers Crows and Shockers to get some wins as all four are going like a busted wheel.

Watched or tried to watch a few games and its just dour poor stuff, eagles amongst the worst, they look slow and old boring as heck stuff. Skills are rubbish, maybe the break relocation and the whole year is a write off,

99% of the football watching public would agree with you on the standard currently absolute defence driven drivel.

And good on the QLD Premier for not allowing Richmond into their state this week who were due to play WCE on Thursday night.
I wonder if McGowan will follow suit?
The poor old Vics wont like it but until the afl/vfl actually get all 10 of their beloved Victorian teams out of that freezing cold virus ridden state ASAP, there will be further disruptions upcoming to their fixture as that state just cant get on top of it.

As was said, Eagles look like they have aged 10 years and have cement in their boots, so that's not a given Baz.

Seem totally shot to pieces by the hub thing the poor loves, the upcoming "derby" could be a nil all draw the day after 4 fabulous games of competetive entertaining no frills WAFL footy on the saturday.

As for Port they have flogged all 4 opponents this year.Straight footy with big marking fwds Dixon,Westoff+Marshall. The best rookie players Rozee,Drew,Dursma.Big body midfielders Boak.SPP.Wines.Lycett having a great season and a solid defense.
Loins v Port at the Gabba next week.Could be the home+away game to watch of this season.

yep that theory is being bandied around, but the eagles look like they have aged 10 years since last year, cement in boots, they look haggard.

It's not going to get any easier for West Coast Baz.Every AFL club will smell the Blood and go in for the kill.None of there opponents will show mercy for them.
We might have to live with Covid-19 .For the next couple of years. So the Eagles need to sharpen+harden up.Hubs might be the only way we can play with Victorias outbreak.

Gtr, I don’t think the Eagles being vulnerable will give any club the incentive to show no mercy. If it does, they have a problem in getting motivated for a game I would think.

Since 1987 the only club more successful than WCE is Hawthorn. Historically the eagles are closer to the top of the ladder than the bottom. Very rarely are they easybeats.
