There is some stat going round on fox footy, I'm not exactly sure what it is - some scoring ratio to something, that every premiership side has had. Only Hawks and Eagles have that stat. So according to history it is a two horse race.

I think its averaging 100+ points per game.

no...its based on points for and points against. on Fox David King has come up with a graph with an x/y axis with x being a 100 point threshold for points scored and y being a 86 points threshold for points against (from memory). there's only 2 teams which fit into the north west quandrant which indicates an average of 100 points or better scored and 86 points or less scored against and those are Hawthorn and WCE. for mine its a bit of a hit and miss coz if a side keeps the opposition to a score lower than them then they'll win the game regardless of what that number is.

yeah sounds like a manipulated state to suit the criteria.
Stats are a good business for some these days.

I was pretty certain the eagles would knock off the pies and they will do the job v sydney, but not against the hawks.

they will secure a top 2 finish with the Hawka, Im thinking freo 3 and swans 4th.

dockers look gone for mine, the hobbit is history, not that he has had much impact anyway. Richmond will knock them off this weekend.

I reckon a egles v hawks grandie , but with hawks getting the job done with comfort.

based on current form i think you're right Baz but there's still a fair bit of water to go under the bridge before finals are played. as someone said the other day, the GF isn't played in July.

Hawks are flying but to analyse one would say they beat the Pies by 10 points 2 weeks ago where Collingwood had more scoring shots, kicking wayward.
The Dockers have been struggling for weeks, Brisbane, Gold Coast.
Sydney have been struggling too. Hawks have been flying for 2 weeks.
Easy come easy go.... who knows.
