Bit unfair on Cripps to get dropped this week but Simpson needs to look at the blokes in the twos to see whose worth keeping. I'm suprised Sheed hasn't got another game earlier than this.

Wellingham promises alot but never delivers I can see why Collingwood people weren't sad to see him go

Gaff butchers his disposal too much for mine, trade him while we still can.

Don't think we will be seeing Darling in the Forward line next year he will become a midfielder. We have an abundance of big blokes at the club and it sounds like there is some good talent waiting in the twos

Yep, I agree, let's see what the fringe players have got - after all, the season is gone for the Eagles now. Just watching the game v Brisbane and I wonder when Nic Nat is going to be dropped?? ATM, he is embarrassing himself and the team. If I was a fringe player watching him not get the ball and stuffing it up when he did finally get it, I'd be pissed he was playing in front of me. And that's from someone who has argued his case for 5 years. I can only think that Simpson has been told Nic WILL play every week.

Yea I would love to see some of the young guys get more of a gig now that the season is basically over. It was good to see a fair few of them run around on the weekend against the Lions.

I thought Darling was going to do more in the middle this year. McGovern can hold chf or ff. For speed & ball magnet look at Tom Mitchell from Sydney who cant get a game at present. The is a GUN.

scott selwood - purely a nullifying run with midfielder half as good as Crowley and one tenth as good as his geelong captain big brother, wellingham - huge disappointment, only runs forward. no defensive skills. wont chase.

the midfield is this teams Achilles heal. forwards, backs okay - midfield shit.

Scott Selwood should be used as a proper midfielder IMO. Use someone else as a tagger. Selwood can find the footy and can kick goals too.

selwood - yeh maybe. not sold on him. we need big bodies like moribito. too many who love running forward but not defend. it's like their not fit look at freo, embarrassing riches in the guts

Priddis is rated 36th in the league for efficiency and handballs to players who get nailed instantly hate to be a forward on the lead to him should try out for the NFL his kicks have that much hang time. Great ball getter poor decisions and terrible disposal

Efficiency for disposals is crap if the receiver is caught. Should be efficiencies to advantage or assist to score. Needs more hard gains. Simpson needs to recruit bigger, mobile mids or fall behind.
