Yep, bring in Sinclair. I said it before - why do they keep bringing in Lycett over Sinclair? Lycett's not worth a cup full of cold water so far. Oh yeah, surely Wellingham must be due to be dropped back to the reserves again? He's been the biggest disappointment since coming over.

Not yet bazza. The fact is, there's something wrong there and the whole team is playing at 60%. Still, as a commentator said recently, when Lyon took over, freo copped a lot of floggings till they picked up his game plan. Who knows with the WCE...but I do know that Simpson has got to stop being the nice guy.

It was interesting when Hardy was talking to Simpson last night that he said he was told by people within the Eagles that players were cheating by not doing the training load completely, as required, and he implied that Simpson had acknowledged the fact. Simpson denied it and stuck by his players. To me it sounds like Simpson has inherited some lazy players and will need to sort through them. The problem is with the players and I think Simpson, if given the time, will correct the situation, the list isn't that bad.

I think with the exception of the midfield, the list is ok and even Priddis, as slow as he is (bit like Barlow)with a few good strong mids around him is more than useful. The forward line is very strong and back line is good. I reckon the problem is the attitude of the players and the new coach hasn't been able to reign them in yet. Think you will see some changes at end of season with some retirements and some trading, but won't be huge numbers and a much improved side next year. Simpson is used to winning and won't accept the efforts so far. Can't change it overnight, but he will at seasons end.

Almost every kick from almost every player was for distance. A bomb. All crap, resulting in Spanghers best game for the Hawks. He took more marks from Eagles then every other player. Kicking long is the simplest strategy for the dumbest player. Simpson would be furious coming from the Hawks to see such crap. And the reason for that is all the players are too lazy to run hard into space for short. The team is mostly a bunch a bums at this stage.
