Therefore Unka2 you are saying that the Eagles by far have the best supporters :-)

Interesting question s/born. I think Eagles supporters are the most intimidating in the environment of Subi... dont know about "the best". With 38,000 people all baying for the same team, its going to effect the umpires of that i am sure. Put it this way.. i freely admit my Cats got a great run with the upms agaisnt the Pies on sat at the "G", very rarely do i hear Eags supporters say the have a good run with the umps at Subi, when 99.9% of the time they do

Or is it more fun just to highlight the Subi games?

Huh??.... lets focus on how many free kick counts at Subi the eags have "lost over 2 and a half years. I would think over what 28 matches they would have not lost one, that is an amazing stat, doubtful it would be matched ANY ground in the AFL on such an over whelming basis. Umpires and free kick counts will ALWAYS be be inconsistant....why isnt this the case at the eagles at subi then 58? I dont "blame" the eags, io blame the umps who obvioulsy get intimidated by the crowd at Subi

You missed my point unk or you're saying that the WCE are the only AFL team that has 'baying, intimidating' supporters and they are the only ones to continually get home team advantage. I'm never interested in frees for/agin nor umpiring stats. What you get is what you get - home/away. I stick to player stats.

Eagles support the most intimidating - yeah right, and pigs fly. What did The late great George G use to call them? Chardonnay swillers. Dockers fans are more intimidating - they are hungrier after nigh on 20 years of underachieving. Collingwood and Richmond are the most feral by a country mile. Tigers fans in Melbourne just plain wierd looking - can barely string a sentence together.

Yet again i will make it simple for you guys 40,000 people urging each other as well as their team on, creates a mob mentality. Now in melb there are 2 opposing sets of the supporters at the ground hence the

Also i invite you to check any ground in the AFL and see if ANY team has amazing stat of not losing a free counk count for a couple of YEARS. . Player stats, can be bloody useless IMHO. Bloke can rack up 40 possies playing "chip chip" and get BOG!

George loved everything WA,including the Eagles. He was the WA equivilant of Ted Whitten, loud mouthed, inaccurate, bully boy.

Yeah 50000 Pies suporters and 5000 Western Bulldogs,Melbourne,North melbourne supporters!!!Yeah thats 2 sets of supporters.
Mate i was in bay 13 at the "G" in the 80's Collingwood V Melbourne you want to see mob mentality..on display that day all day by the balck and white army!!!
The lopsided crowd numbers Pies V 3 or so Melbourne clubs still exists.
Anyway i will let you know if things have changed,im going to Eagles V Collingwood At the G Friday 23rd August, reckon i will see first hand this mob mentality that you talk about.

You need to get over this thing you have with the Eagles and Subi oval or go out and by an Eagles membership and come out of the closet!!

Whatever typical ignorance, no one here has explained how the eags havent lost a free kick count in 2 years. you can bang on all ya like about opinions... but FACTS are FACTS, as the free kick count shows. Ive said it many times to 58shark, most decent and knowledagble fans in wa are die hard wafl fans. Ohh and if we take you so called "theory" a bulldogs v melbourne crowd would be 10,000 in total. Wonder if you would like to check last time a match with 2 melb teams pulled less than 25000. Nothing beats watching AFL in Melb

That statement nullifies any validity of your argument unk, unless of course you're some sort of professional that has done 'extensive' studies on WCE fans. If not, it is no more than your opinion. Like I suggested before, get over this fetish of studying the 'baying, howling' WCE supporter and concentrate on the players on the field - it' a lot less taxing on the heart.
