Yes Mitch Dobson is 188cm 92kg has run through the midfield but was mainly used as a power forward last season.He is a beautiful kick and the only player in the WAFL who can bang goals outside 50 on either side of the body and can take pack marks and break tackles where has given a lot of goal assists to fellow forwards while having 2 or 3 defenders hanging of him.Can sometimes be a bit lazy but from what i've seen has more tricks in his toolbag than any other player i saw last year in the WAFL.

Those being the glaring obvious Subiaco, then it’s a question of who will play Subi and most likely get flogged in the grand final? Their main rivals have basically been SF, WP and Claremont then you throw in the boring and controversial Peel and EP alignment with Fremantle and the Eagles who emerged as the only real threat to Subiaco.

The Fremantle and Perth derbies have lost their appeal and pulling power they once had. I believe a strong Perth (yes I’m biased surprise surprise) , Swan Districts and a born again East Perth can revitalise this competition. Did I leave anyone out? Oops I’m sorry if I offended anyone.

Oh, and some clubs need to start knocking Subi off.

Yes i agree DD the competition needs an urgent rejuvenation.it was only as recently as the 2010 prelim. final at bassendean where officials had to fling the gates open to accomodate the 12000 plus crowd when we played Swans,so surely most of them haven't kicked the bucket,so we definitely need fresh blood injected into the top 5 as well as inroads made into our next door neighbours dominance.

Peel will soon have a war chest similar to East Perth. Maybe EF better get their sales pitch ready. WP should probably be the club that should be sucking up to Fremantle for an alignment deal but hard to see that working being at the opposite end of the metro area. Most Fremantle players would be located SOR.

Maybe “West Perth” play their home games at ARC? Shouldn’t be any shame in that given they stubbornly insist on calling themselves West Perth while their home has been about 20km north of West Perth for the last 20 odd years.

So is the series still going or alternatively West Perth and Swans have nothing to get excited about? And I renewed my membership last week too...…...
